hi i am trashelle. I was abused from an early age till i was 11(afraid i am a little shaky on the age it started). I was abused by an aunt and possibly others. I am just starting my journey but have found that talking to other survivers as well as trained professionals has really helped. For the first time i knew others knew where I was coming from. I am therefore looking for a penpal to discuss things with for support and to support. Hoping someone out there can help
I have only just joined a few days ago myself but have had a warm and supportive welcome. I also registered on the main message board where it seems more people seem to us.
I feel this is the right thing to do for myself and I hope that it will help you too and I am sure you will soon find some understanding and others to talk to who know EXACTLY how you feel.
